DeliverLean “Raw Foods Detox Class.”

Last night we had our first ever raw foods and detoxification class at our DeliverLean headquarters in Boca Raton. Our raw foods chef Alina Z prepared three of her favorite recipes including a “Glamorous Green Smoothie,” a “Mock Chicken Salad,” and an “Apple Pie.” 

From 6:30 – 8:00pm cooking class attendees were all given the chance to speak with Alina and learn all about healing with whole, healthy foods while enjoying delicious wine and 

We’ve provided the recipe for her famous raw vegan apple pie below for you to try on your own. Look out for our next cooking class – “Healthy Holiday Desserts,” on February 7th from 6:30 – 8:00pm. 

 

APPLE PIE CRUST

 

1.5 Cup of almonds, soaked and dehydrated

1.5 cups of walnuts, soaked and dehydrated

1 Cup dates

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla powder

 

Blend all ingredients in a food processor with an S blade

 

 

APPLE PIE

 

1 Crust

5-6 apples

4 dates

 

2 teaspoons ground flax seeds

2 teaspoons of cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla powder

1 teaspoon salt

 

½ cup raisins

Shredded coconut

 

Mix 3 apples with dates, flax seeds, salt, cinnamon and vanilla in the food processor. Chop or Slice 3 apples and mix with the mixture. Add raisins. Pour into a pie crust, sprinkle with cinnamon and coconut. Enjoy
